We strongly believe that an insight into the legal profession is essential for anyone wanting to embark on a successful legal career.
We have found that this is the best way in which potential applicants for pupilage can make an informed assessment of whether they would suit our firm and whether the firm would suit them.
During the course of the attachment, successful candidates will avail themselves of the opportunity to shadow our partners and associates to various court proceedings, including trials and appeals in the High Court and the appellate courts.
Successful candidates will also have early exposure on different areas of the law and notable cases that members of the firm are working on at that period of time.
You may also be tasked with carrying out research work and have the opportunity to get an insight into the daily operation of a law firm.
Potential applicants are encouraged to have excellent academic records, that are based on past examination results, including the first and second year undergraduate results.
Applicants should also possess interpersonal skills and be fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Applicants will be asked to submit in writing, telling us why they are applying for an attachment.
Attachments usually last between one to two weeks.
